This season has been very difficult for the St. Louis Blues, Andy McDonald left but it feels like the team is finally getting things turned around.Coming off their highest scoring game in nearly six years, the Blues look to beat the Calgary Flames for the second time in two weeks and won three consecutive games for the first time this season Wednesday night.

St. Louis (16-14-5) came out of last place in the Western Conference with a 3-1 win over Vancouver on Sunday, then won 7-2 in Edmonton on Monday. That marked the best way out of Blues’ offense since the 7-4 victory over Chicago on 12 January 2004.

The power play has been a big reason for the struggles of St. Louis, but the Blues finally got it working against the Oilers. St. Louis came in 29th place in the league on the power play, before scoring four times with the man advantage
